You’ve heard of it, right? That’s the irony of a business being so focused on its paying customers that it never takes care of itself, like a PR and communication firm being in business for nine years and never putting up a website.
It’s weird calling THR3E | 8 Communications a PR and communications firm, but that’s the code I use when I file my taxes. Yet I don’t take my own advice about blogging, social media orĀ even putting up a website. I can’t bill for that time, and I’ve been desperately trying to bill since day one.
I want to thank Andrea Leal and HerospaceĀ for building my site. I’m even more grateful for her patience. I haven’t been enthusiastic about going live. I have actually been more anxious.
There are some terrible, ego-driven, wordy-as-hell websites out there that I LOVE to mock. Add me to the list. Andrea reminded me that people will always have opinions, but I need only worry about the quality of my work and what my clients have to say.
I have some great clients, and no one has fired me in a while. Now, if only I could find a way to bill for this time.
